By placing an order with Garden Living Spaces Ltd, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below. Please read them carefully. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.

2. Ordering and Cancellations

All garden rooms are made to order and built in Britain from high-quality, low-maintenance PVCu and composite materials.

When placing an order:

• You will receive an Order Confirmation detailing your chosen specification, pricing, and estimated delivery or installation date.

• It is the customer’s responsibility to check that all details (dimensions, layout, options) are correct before confirming the order.

Deposit and Payment

• A 50% deposit is required at the point of order to secure production.

• The remaining balance is payable before delivery or installation.

• Any agreed optional extras or upgrades are non-refundable once materials are ordered or production has started.

Cancellation and Refunds

Due to the bespoke and made-to-order nature of our garden rooms:

• The standard 14-day cooling-off period under UK consumer law does not apply.

• By placing an order and paying the deposit, the customer acknowledges that no cancellations or refunds are available once production has commenced.

• Requests for changes or cancellations must be made before production begins; once production is underway, the order is considered final.

3. Planning & Compliance

Our garden rooms have a maximum height of 2.46m, so fall within Permitted Development limits; however, It is the customer’s responsibility to confirm compliance with their local authorities. Garden Living Spaces Ltd cannot be held responsible for planning breaches.

• Max height: 2.5m within 2m of a boundary; 3m if more than 2m away.

• Dual-pitched roofs up to 4m if more than 2m from a boundary.

• Maximum eaves: 2.5m.

• Maximum footprint: 50% of total garden area.

4. Site Preparation & Access

• Base must be level, solid, and correctly sized. Concrete bases: 100–150mm depth, fully cured.

• Timber or composite bases must match the building footprint.

• Minimum access: 8ft height, 3ft width (8ft 3" for angled access).

• Panels cannot be carried over walls, fences, or through buildings.

• Garden Living Spaces Ltd is not responsible for unsuitable bases or restricted access.

• Additional charges apply if installation cannot proceed due to base or access issues.

5. Delivery & Installation

• Delivery dates are estimates; we will confirm approx. 4 weeks before installation.

• Delays due to weather, transport, or supply issues may occur.

• Customer or representative must be present to accept delivery and sign off on completion.

• Once installation begins, the garden room cannot be repositioned.

6. Electrical and plumbing Work

• Carried out by qualified subcontractors.

• Return visits due to site issues may incur fees.

• Cancellations within 48 hours of electrical or plumbing installation: £250 charge.

7. Inspection & Completion

• On completion, any issues must be noted on the handover document.

• If no one is present, the build is considered accepted.

• Photos will be taken for records.

8. Product Materials & Maintenance

• Built from PVCu and composite materials, designed for zero maintenance.

• Minor colour variations or seasonal expansion/contraction are normal and not defects.

• Cleaning: mild detergent and water only; avoid abrasive or aggressive chemicals.

9. Warranty

9.1 15-Year Structural Warranty

Garden Living Spaces garden rooms carry a 15-year warranty covering:

• Structural integrity

• PVCu and composite elements against defects in materials or workmanship

Exclusions:

• Misuse, neglect, or accidental damage

• Unauthorised modifications or repairs

• Poor base or installation

• Natural wear or cosmetic changes

• Exposure to extreme conditions

9.2 PVCu Element Warranty

Garden Living Spaces Ltd provides the following warranty on the PVCu elements of our garden rooms:

PVCu Component Warranty – Integrity Warranty – Colour

White extrusions 15 years 10 years

Coloured/painted extrusions 15 years 0 years

Foiled extrusions 15 years 5 years

White mouldings 5 years 5 years

Coloured mouldings 5 years 0 years

Key Details:

• Covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal use.

• PVCu elements must be properly installed and maintained.

• Excludes misuse, neglect, accidental damage, improper installation, or exposure to chemicals.

• Minor colour variations, fading, or discolouration caused by environmental factors are not covered.

Making a Claim:

1. Notify info@gardenlivingspaces.co.uk promptly (within 30 days of discovering a defect).

2. Provide proof of purchase and access for inspection.

3. Do not attempt repairs without prior written consent.

Remedies:

• Repair or replacement of defective PVCu elements.

• If repair or replacement is impractical, a partial refund may be offered based on the age of the product.

10. Liability

• Garden Living Spaces Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of earnings.

• Maximum liability is the value of the original order.

11. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failure to deliver caused by events outside our control, including extreme weather, strikes, transport issues, or supply shortages.

12. Intellectual Property

All images, text, designs, and branding remain the property of Garden Living Spaces Ltd.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by English law, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
