Our story

At Garden Living Spaces, we believe creating a garden room should be straightforward. A well-designed, high-quality space that looks great, fits your budget, and works the way you want it to.

We’re a mother and son team, and this business began the same way many of our customers’ journeys do, with a need for more space at home.

After moving into our forever home, we needed a space the whole family could use.

An office during the day, a gym in the evening, somewhere quiet to focus and somewhere social when needed. It needed to be adaptable, well-designed and built to last.

We’d installed a timber garden room at our old house, so this time we knew we wanted something different; durable, low-maintenance, and without the time or cost of ongoing upkeep. We were also keen to use recycled and sustainable materials wherever we could.

As we looked around, it quickly became clear that many of the non-timber, composite options just weren’t up to scratch — they didn’t have the durability or lasting quality we were looking for. At the same time, it was frustrating not to be able to get a clear idea of price upfront. Too often, we couldn’t see whether a product would fit our budget without speaking to someone first.

We wanted to do things differently.
