When we started searching for a garden room of our own, we already knew what it was like to own one. We’d previously had a timber garden room, and while it looked great at first, the ongoing maintenance, vulnerability to pests and rot, and upkeep costs made it less appealing over time. We wanted something modern, durable, and low-maintenance — a garden room that would stand the test of time without all the effort that timber demands.
But when we began looking for alternatives, we quickly realised how confusing the process could be. Prices were vague, “extras” were unclear, and getting a simple quote often meant filling in long forms and waiting for a call back. Even worse, many companies seemed to be offering poor-quality products built from low-cost materials — the kind that might look good at first glance but simply wouldn’t last.
